There are certain tattoos that look awesome on people and then there are tattoos that look like they do not belong.
Below are a few examples of tattoo placements that women should not get:

1. Tattoos on Wrist – The wrist is a great place to get inked but not for girls. This area is not very attractive. The inking on the wrist is usually associated with a masculine symbol.

2. Tattoos on Forearm – Without a doubt, the area of skin pertaining to the forearm is one of the best areas on the body for body art. It is very elastic and stretchy. The healing is notably and visibly faster. However, for a lady, this is not that easy to conceal and hide for it shows almost all of the time. Not that attractive.

3. Tattoos of Neck – Anywhere on the neck, the neck tattoo is a future warning sign of remorse. This area takes and holds ink well, but it is still an area of the women body where a tattoo does not go to well with their feminine beauty side.

4. Between Breast Tattoo – Most tattoo artists know that some of the best skin on the body is found on the chest. I am sure it will look sexy while they are young but not when they are in their 80′s.

5. Tattoos on Face – Facial tattooing is definitely known more for the men then the women even though women in different cultures do get inked on their faces. Besides getting eyeliner or lip liner inked, actual tattoo designs on the larger part of the face of a women just do not make sense.

6. Tattoos on Toes – A very difficult area to ink, at least for most artists, because the skin does not stretch well and there is not much skin and area to cover. Mistakes are common. The healing process for a toe tattoo usually never comes out well because of the bandages used. They seem to cause problems leaving an ugly, permanent disaster from poor healing.

It happens to be a reality TV show filmed on location at South Beach, Miami.

A brilliant show which injects your personal emotions behind the scenes and gives you the feeling of getting a tattoo whether it is your first time or 20th. This program gets deep into your skin by exposing tattoos for their true meaning; the self expression and significant ambiance that surrounds the realism of body art at its best. We get to watch individuals getting their 1st tattoo design inked onto their skin for the most part. The process is shown as tattoo artists try and explain their secrets and MO’s.

Listening in on the true stories that these people provide for us and their reasoning for getting a tattoo is the best part of the show. We get to see the client enter the tattoo studio, watch their emotions, listen in on the artist design ideas, follow some step-by-step guide they share with the viewers and finally get to see the end result which most of the time happens to be truly amazing. It is, by far, and amazing program to watch.

If anyone is contemplating getting a tattoo, this program is a must see for you. Even if you have tattoos galore in abundance throughout your body and have never seen the show, you must watch it. I personally guarantee that you will fall in love with the art of body art and tattooing all over again. You get to see the evolution of the tattoo design and the structure that goes behind the scenes of making this complete.

Miami Ink even allows individuals to apply and be auditioned to try and get selected for the show. However, they do insist and require that you already have a pretty good idea of what tat you want before you do the entire process. Who knows, you may be the next tattoo star!

Learn How to Draw Your Own Tattoo Designs

Have you ever wanted to learn to create your own tattoo designs by yourself?

Many of us have, especially if we have crappy drawing skills or just plain “suck at it”!

Its all good, however, because with a little help, you will soon realize that you are not that bad after all.
For starters, Research the image you are interested in. Do a quick Google search and type in the exact words you are looking for.

EX: Fleur De Lis Tattoo Designs

Print the image or save it in your bookmarks for later.

Collect all the photos and print them out then place them next to one another on a flat surface.

Next, trace the tattoo image onto “tracing paper”. If you do not have this, any hardware store or dollar store usually has it. Don’t worry, its cheap! Once you have the paper, simply trace the image onto the paper with a fine point pen or sharpie. Don’t feel useless because many tattoo artists use tracing paper for the same reasons. The great thing about doing this is that you can screw up and start over if you wish plus you can alter the design or even add another image to it and get crazy with your personal tattoo design.

Once you have finished this process, take your design to your favorite body artist shop and go get it done! The artist usually will fill in the blanks by adding his or hers own personal touch with detail but only if you allow them to.
